Dr Lynsay Shepherd

Dr Lynsay A. Shepherd is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Human-Computer Interaction at Abertay University, Dundee, and works within the School of Design and Informatics. Lynsay holds a Ph.D. in Usable Security, an M.Sc. in Internet Computing, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computing. Lynsay’s research focuses on applied research in the human aspects of cybersecurity, and she is leading a newly formed research group at the university, examining the links between human behaviour and technology.

Lynsay’s research interests also focus on eyetracking techniques in security, web technologies, and cybercrime with a particular focus on romance fraud detection and prevention techniques.
