Dr Onur Çağdaş Artantaş

Research Assistant at Hacettepe University

Onur Çağdaş Artantaş is a Ph.D. graduate (Magna cum laude) from Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. He was awarded a full Ph.D. scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Program (DAAD) for two consecutive years. His Ph.D. dissertation dealt with the promotion of green electricity in four legal spheres: WTO, EU, Germany, and Turkey. He works as a research assistant at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Law, Administrative Law Department. He is an LL.B. and public law LL.M. graduate of the Ankara University Faculty of Law.

Dr Artantas’ scholarly work focuses mainly on the law and policy aspects of the global sustainability effort, such as taxonomy, renewable energy, green finance, or climate protection. More broadly, he is interested in regulation and international economic law. He looks forward to the European Crucible 2022 to expand his network and build or participate in an international and interdisciplinary project team.
